2 Mari (Two Seas) is an initiative spearheaded by Marco Verdone, a veterinarian, born from his extensive educational experiences in the realm of human-animal-environment relationships. Set against the backdrop of the picturesque Tuscan coastline and seas, the project seeks to shed light on the remarkable biodiversity of the region's coastal areas and waters. With Piombino's canal serving as a symbolic divide between the Ligurian and Tyrrhenian Seas, the endeavor aims to foster greater awareness and appreciation for this unique intersection of land, sea, and life.
